Chairman and Founder

Saeed is a true visionary with a background in construction, engineering, and development with over 30 years of experience building successful businesses. With his drive for performance and can-do attitude, he has been able to grow what started with a Custom Home Building business in Austin, Texas into multiple successful companies. These include but are not limited to an Electrical Company, Lighting Company, and an FF&E
Company which eventually led building of his first hotel & restaurant. This first IHOP restaurant opened in June 2022 and sparked what would become the first IHOP in Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

 
 

Mohammad Khurram Minhas

Managing Member and Co Founder

Mohammad’s passion for hotels came from his years of travelling with Motorola where he experienced a wide range of hotels, from small select service hotels to large luxury brands and everything in between. With his passion for offering our guests the very best, his focus is developing new Premium Branded Projects for MKM Lodging Services in high-demand markets and ensuring they have the best technology available for their travelling needs. Mohammad has also been instrumental in the financial growth of MKM portfolio of businesses and established strong partnerships with leading financial institutions by delivering premium results on each project.

Waseem Khan

Chief Operating Officer

Waseem Khan joined MKM Companies in 2019 as Vice President of Operations responsible for Hotel Management, Sales and Marketing, Asset Management, New Construction and Complex Ownership groups. Waseem has over 33 years of experience managing multiple branded full service and select service hotels and restaurants including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, Wyndham, and independent and branded restaurants. Prior to joining the company, Waseem was Vice President of Operations with Twin Tier Hospitality, TPG Hotels & Resorts and Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Waseem began his career with Holiday Inn Worldwide (Currently IHG). Waseem is a dynamic hospitality executive experienced in developing and training teams, effectively controlling costs, and achieving YOY revenue growth and high guest satisfaction ratings in competitive environments. He is an expert communicator, passionate about fostering a positive and result-oriented team culture.

Upcoming Restaurants

Our new IHOP at 50 Biscayne Crescent, Brampton marks the 1st of 15 new IHOP locations by Saeed Minhas in the Greater Toronto Area over the next 7 years.

We are expanding our boundaries in GTA (Greater Toronto Area)... expected to open 14 plus restaurants in the next 7 years.

Brampton Pancakes Inc., founded by franchisee Saeed Minhas, plans to open 15 new IHOP locations in the GTA with the first location open in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The new locations are expected to create approximately 900 jobs and contribute up to $15 million to the construction industry in the market.
